SERVING
The Explanation
One of our favourite phrases at IKON Church is, “We don’t have to do this, but rather, we get to do this.” We don’t have to serve in the local church, but we will miss out on the opportunity of playing our part if we don’t.
Jesus is the greatest example of how we should serve God and others.
Mark 10:45 (NIV) - “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
“Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love”
