SHARING JESUS
The Explanation
Preaching the good news of the Kingdom of Heaven was something that Jesus did. It should also be something that every Christ follower should do, as this is part of what it means to be a Christian.
In fact, one of our greatest privileges is to share with others what God has done in our lives in the hope that they, too, would be open to encountering God for themselves.
“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’”
Romans 10:13-15 (NIV) - “For, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?”
The Practice
Choose who you wish to share God’s love with
Pray for them regularly
Ask God for courage and boldness to share the good news with them
Let Christ’s love compel and motivate you
Be kind and gracious in your approach
Take the opportunity that comes your way
